Finally I did it: conquered the 160 band with a half wave dipole in inverted-vee position, feeding point at about 25m. The antenna was tuned perfectly to the middle of the band and first QSO was made: my club fellow OH2ZH reported 59+10dB in LSB.

ReplyDeleteTnx Bas for commenting! I tested the antenna in the IARU HF Championship contest last weekend and this antenna proved to be excellent there! I heard all EU and some AS, and they heard me easily.
